Shilpa Maskey, born on April 14, 1992, in Biratnagar, Nepal, is a versatile Nepalese film actress, model, and dancer. Her foray into the Nepali film industry began with her lead role in "The Break Up," where she starred alongside Aashirman DS Joshi. Following her debut, she featured in "Kagaz Patra," sharing the screen with Najir Hussain.
Maskey's career spans across various mediums including music videos, films, photo shoots, and advertisements, both on a national and international scale. She has ventured into Hollywood, making minor appearances in notable projects like "Doctor Strange," "Mission: Impossible – Fallout," and the Netflix series "The Crown" in its second season, specifically in episode 5. Additionally, she appeared in the short movie "Shooting an Elephant" and Bollywood film "Gold."
Continuing her contributions to Nepali cinema, Maskey starred in several movies such as "Sano Mann" alongside Ayushman Joshi, "Kathaputali," which premiered on December 31, 2021, and "Life in LA," released on May 20, 2022. Her recent films include "Fulbari" and "Parastree," both of which hit the screens in 2023, further establishing her presence in the industry.
