The Birthday Calendar shows birthdays of Nepali artists:

• Organized by month (starting from current month)
• Today's birthdays are highlighted with special animations
• Filter by gender (Male, Female, Other)

Birthdays are celebrated with a special "Celebrating Today" section featuring golden glowing cards and confetti animations.

1. Visit the movie detail page
2. Click the star rating widget
3. Select 1-10 stars
4. Optionally write a review
5. Submit your rating

Your rating contributes to the movie's overall score. You can only rate each movie once.

User Ratings:

• Given by registered users
• 1-10 star scale
• Anyone can rate
• Shows average of all user ratings

Editor Reviews:

• Professional reviews by our editorial team
• Detailed analysis with pros/cons
• Expert perspective
• Includes recommendation

Both are visible on movie pages to help you decide what to watch.

In December 2025, we upgraded our rating system:

• Old: 1-5 stars
• New: 1-10 stars
• Conversion: Old rating × 2 = New rating

For example:

• 3 stars → 6 stars (60% preserved)
• 5 stars → 10 stars (100% preserved)

This gives more granular ratings and aligns with industry standards (IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes).

To post an advertisement:

1. Visit the Pricing page
2. Select your preferred ad position and view pricing
3. Click "Post Advertisement"
4. Fill in ad details (title, URL, upload image)
5. Choose duration and payment method
6. Complete payment (Khalti, PayPal, or eSewa)

Your ad will be reviewed and activated within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

We offer multiple ad positions:

• Top Banner: Premium position above content
• Sidebar: Visible on all pages
• After Featured: Below featured content
• Between News: Integrated with news feed

Track your ad performance in the Advertisement Dashboard:

• Views: Total times ad was displayed
• Clicks: Number of clicks on your ad
• Impressions: Unique views
• CTR: Click-through rate percentage

View detailed analytics for each ad, including daily performance and recommendations.

You receive two reminder emails:

• 3 days before expiration: Early warning email
• 4 days before expiration: Second reminder

Emails include:

• Days remaining
• Current ad performance
• Direct renewal link
• Special renewal offers

You can also renew from your My Advertisements page anytime.

We accept multiple payment methods:

• Khalti: Digital wallet (Recommended for Nepali users)
• PayPal: International payments
• eSewa: Digital wallet

All payments are secure and processed instantly. You'll receive a purchase confirmation email immediately after successful payment.

Create an account in 3 ways:

1. Email Registration: Use email and password
2. Google Login: Sign in with Google account
3. Facebook Login: Sign in with Facebook

After registration, verify your email via OTP. Admin-created accounts receive a temporary password via email that must be changed on first login.

To reset your password:

1. Click "Forgot Password" on the login page
2. Enter your registered email
3. Check your email for reset link
4. Click the link and set a new password

Passwords must be at least 8 characters with mixed case, numbers, and symbols.

For security reasons:

• Admin-generated passwords are temporary (12+ characters)
• They expire in 7 days
• First login requires password change
• Ensures only you know your password

You'll receive login credentials via email. Change the password immediately on first login to something memorable.

Your profile includes:

• Basic Info: Edit name, email, photo
• Activity: View liked/disliked movies, wishlist, seen list
• Reviews: See all your movie reviews and ratings
• Advertisements: Manage your active ads and view analytics

Access your profile from the top menu after logging in.

Accounts are locked for security after:

• 5 failed login attempts
• Suspicious activity detected
• Multiple IP violations

To unlock:

1. Wait 15 minutes for auto-unlock
2. Contact admin support
3. Use password reset link

Admin can manually unlock accounts from the admin panel.
