Synopsis

The movie Chameli ko Poi tells the story of Vijay, a man widely respected as the king of hearts in London. While he is successful, kind, and beloved by his friends, he carries a heavy burden from his past in Nepal. During his reckless youth, he entered into a marriage with Chameli. Although they have been living separate lives for years without a formal divorce, she remains his legal wife in name only. Chameli is portrayed as a sharp-tongued and greedy woman who abandoned Vijay years ago when he had nothing, choosing to stay with her parents instead.

Everything changed when Vijay earned a scholarship to London and built a prosperous life for himself. Eventually, he brought his mother to London for medical treatment. Before she passed away, she gave him a dog as a final gift, which became his most loyal companion. However, the peace is shattered when Chameli suddenly arrives in London with a calculated plan to seize Vijay’s wealth. She first targets the dog, successfully driving it away, and then systematically strips Vijay of his assets and status.

Once Chameli succeeds in ruining him and leaves, Vijay finds himself alone and penniless on the streets. In this selfish and greedy world, all his fair-weather friends and relatives abandon him. The only one who remains by his side is his mother’s dog. Produced under the Everest Surya Bohra Films banner, Chameli ko Poi is a gripping tale of betrayal and the search for true loyalty.
