Neer Shah Returns to Direction with Psychological Drama ‘Kamala Miss’

Legendary actor and director Neer Shah is officially back in the director's chair after a ten-year break. His new project, titled Kamala Miss, held its official opening ceremony (Shubha Muhurat) on Friday at the New Millennium School in Imadol, Lalitpur. Filming began immediately on the school premises.

It is rare to see psychological dramas in the Nepali film industry, but Neer Shah has always been known for taking the path less traveled. This film is based on the famous play Kohi Kina Barbaad Hos by dramatist Vijay Malla. The story focuses on the deep layers of human psychology. Can a veteran like Shah bring the same magic to the screen that he did with classics like Basanti and Masaan? Given his track record, fans are definitely expecting something intellectual and moving.

This move back to direction feels like a natural step for him after such a big success. He has acted in over 300 films, so he knows exactly what the audience wants.
