The upcoming Nepali film Zero Degree has just released its first song, and it’s already making waves for its bold, satirical take on politics. Titled "Arey Oh Neta Ji", the track was launched on Sunday via the 'Moviez Digitainment' YouTube channel.

The song features the voice of actor Bijay Baral alongside singer Ankit Babu Adhikari, who also composed the music. With lyrics penned by Yuvraj Kafle, the video showcases Bijay Baral delivering a punchy, humorous performance that mocks the evasive nature of political leaders.

Why "Arey Oh Neta Ji" is Trending

The song captures the frustration of common citizens who ask about infrastructure and development, only to be met with the typical "this is progress" excuse from politicians.

The Vibe: It uses humor to highlight the "this is development" attitude that many voters find frustrating.

The Vocals: Bijay Baral, fresh off his massive success in Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi, brings his signature charm and energy to the satirical lyrics.

About 'Zero Degree': A Fridge, a Village, and Dark Comedy

While the song is a fun political jab, the movie itself promises a very original and "dark" storyline. Produced under the Meghauli Films banner, Zero Degree is a dark comedy set in a remote village that lacks road access.

The Plot: When a couple passes away in the village, their children living abroad must return. To keep the bodies safe until they arrive, the villagers have to carry a deep freezer all the way into the remote village.

The Chaos: The movie follows the chaotic, hilarious, and emotional events that unfold during this unusual mission.

The Team Behind the Scenes

Directed and written by the duo Aakash Baral and Sajan Kafle, the film is positioning itself as more than just a comedy—it aims to expose deep social realities through its unique lens.

Cast: Bijay Baral (Lead), Rajan Bhusal (who also wrote the story).

Technical Crew: Moti Karki (Executive Producer), Nishal Paudel (Cinematography), and Chanas Magar (Editing).

Distribution: Kuber Cine Distribution.

Actually, it’s quite rare to see a Nepali film announce its "dark comedy" roots so clearly with a satirical song before filming is even fully complete. Or at least, it shows that the makers are confident in their message. Zero Degree is expected to be a major highlight for the upcoming movie season.
