A Night of Celebration
The event saw a massive turnout of celebrities, musicians, and journalists. Minister Sinha emphasized the importance of such awards in motivating artists and preserving Nepali culture through storytelling and melody.
Actually, it’s a big win for Satidevi, a film that has been gaining a lot of critical acclaim for its portrayal of social issues. Seeing Bijay Baral win for Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi is also no surprise—that movie became a cultural phenomenon this year. Or at least, it’s heartening to see both commercial blockbusters and meaningful cinema being recognized on the same stage.
