KATHMANDU – In a fitting tribute to International Women’s Day, the production of a new female-oriented Nepali Movie titled ‘Tika (Stateless Soul)’ was officially announced this Sunday.
Produced under the banner of Bhabisya Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Third Eye Arts Pvt. Ltd., the film aims to explore deep-rooted themes of women's struggles, self-respect, and the fight for identity in modern Nepali society.
A Story of Resilience and Identity
The film’s title, Tika, combined with its English subtitle Stateless Soul, hints at a narrative centered on the search for belonging and the moral strength of a woman.
The theme poster, released alongside the announcement, features the word "Tika" in white letters inside a bold red circle. According to the makers, these colors represent the courage, struggle, and ethical purity that the protagonist will embody throughout the movie.
