Kathmandu — Nepali film Mitjyu has revealed its second official poster while simultaneously announcing a revised release date. The production team confirmed on Sunday that the film will now hit theaters on Jestha 8, moving up from its previously announced date of Jestha 15.

The newly released poster offers a compelling first glimpse into the film's tone and world. Lead actor Dayahang Rai appears with an intense, visibly angered expression, while actress Teriya Phounja Magar is seen with a cloth wrapped around her head, conveying quiet sorrow. Saugat Malla is depicted holding a rooster, and Shishir Wangdel along with another character stand in a more subdued posture. A thatched-roof house and mountain road visible in the background strongly hint at a rural setting — suggesting a story rooted in village life and social conflict.
Directed by Anil Budha Magar, Mitajyu features a powerful ensemble cast including Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Teriya Fauza Magar, Puskar Gurung, Shishir Wangdel, Raj Thapa, Suwarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, Arun Pun Magar, Uttam Raj Pande, Sabin Kattel, Umesh Sonam, Pawitra Khadka, Chahana Rana Magar, Anusha Rai, and Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar (Khabapu), among others. Notably, Teriya Magar makes her acting debut through this film.
The film is financed by Janak Gharti Magar and produced under the banner of GM Movies Production. The technical team includes editor Lokesh Bajracharya, cinematographer Shishir Bishankhe, production manager Dhan Bahadur Rai (Bhanja), and chief assistant director Firoz Khadka. Assistant directors Anil Dahal, Sanju Nepali, and Elmina Rai round out the directing team.
Further technical credits include production designer Kishore Nepal, costume designers Sangeeta Roka Magar and Pratiksha Bhat Kshetri, action director Prabhat Bisht, sound designer Nabin Shrestha, background score by Sailesh Shrestha, and music composed by Shrikrishna Bam Malla. The film's songs are performed by Shrikrishna Bam Malla, Melina Rai, and Laxmi Malla, with choreography by Mingma Lepcha. Distribution is being handled by RR Films.
