Kathmandu — Nepali audiences have a new family comedy to celebrate with this festive season. Hami Teen Bhai, directed by Madhusudhan Bhattarai, has officially opened in cinemas across Nepal on Friday, coinciding with the Hindu festival of Ram Navami.
The film brings to the big screen a story that will feel instantly familiar to anyone who has grown up with siblings. At its heart, Hami Teen Bhai explores the deep bonds between three brothers, the tensions and misunderstandings that arise between them, and the family conflicts that test those bonds over time. True to its title and spirit, the film handles all of this through a comedic and message-driven lens that aims to make audiences laugh while reminding them of what truly matters.
The film features a rich multi-starrer cast led by Binod Neupane, Laxmi Bardewa, Kushal Bista, Ashma Giri, and Jahanvi Basnet in the central roles, with strong support from Phalit Rai, Rajaram Poudel, Rabindra Jha, Bishnu Sapkota (Harke Haldar), Bikas Chapagain, Sushma Niraula, Yadav Devkota (Sarape), Anju Hamal, and Tara Sharma, among many others. The ensemble further includes Pawan KC, Rama Bisht, Biren Shrestha, Sushma Jimba, Khinna Bahadur Bhandari (Bhole), Govinda Prasad Poudel, Bhumika Giri, Tekraj Poudel, and Amritman Maharjan.
The film is presented by Sajit Mahat and produced by Triratna Shrestha and Manoj Shrestha under the banner of Prasiddhi Cine Arts Pvt. Ltd., with Bikram Tamang as executive producer and Bhaktlal Shrestha, Pratima Thapa Pokhrel, and Durgalaxmi Pande as co-producers. Special support was provided by Shambhu Kumar KC. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Shivam Adhikari, with cinematography by Shiva Dhakal and editing by Banish Shah. The film's songs feature music by Saap Shakti and Babul Giri, choreography by Kamal Rai and Indra Dev Maharjan, and action direction by Dev Maharjan.
