Kathmandu — The trailer of the upcoming Nepali film Ram Naam Satya has taken YouTube by storm. Released on Wednesday, the action, suspense, and romance-packed trailer climbed to number 8 on YouTube's film trending chart in Nepal within just one hour and thirty minutes of going live. By the 10-hour mark, it had surged all the way to the number 1 position in the film category, and within 24 hours, it had crossed 1 million views with over 2,600 comments, the overwhelming majority of which reflect enthusiastic audience excitement ahead of the film's release.
Director Michael Chand said the response has energized him even further: "The outstanding reaction from the trailer has made me even more excited."
The trailer's runaway success on digital platforms adds to an already impressive promotional campaign for the film. Its first song "Dhagole Bateko" has now crossed 6 million views on YouTube, while the song "Humlako Simi" and the earlier teaser have also been receiving strong audience responses. Distributor Gobinda Shahi has projected an aggressive opening for the film at the box office.
The trailer showcases Biraj Bhatt in commanding action mode alongside powerful dialogue delivery, a romantic thread between Sushil Shrestha and Divya Raymajhi, and intense action sequences between Biraj and Sushil. Newcomer Ayush Singh Thakuri has drawn particular attention for his suspense-driven role, which has left audiences curious and guessing. The already popular song "Humlako Simi" featuring newcomer Khushi Karki dancing alongside Biraj Bhatt is also generating buzz within the trailer.
The film's extensive cast includes Dinesh DC, Sudhir Shrestha, Asha Poudel, Santosh Sarkar, Bikas Khanal, Ravi, Sushant Kumar Shrestha, Upendra Shahi, Rameshwar Shah, Kaniz Koirala, Lokendra GC, Hema Khadka, Deepak Koirala, Binuta Bimali, and Saroj Shah, with child actors Ayush Bikram Shahi, Adhiraj Chand, Sanchana Chand, and Shrinkhala Bisht also featured.
Ram Nam Satya is written, directed, and conceived by Michael Chand and presented under Michael Entertainment House, with investment from Upendra Shahi and Sweta Bimali.
