Kathmandu — One of the most eagerly anticipated Nepali films currently in production has officially announced its release window. Paanch Pandav will hit cinemas during the Tihar festival period, targeting the long holiday break as the ideal moment to bring its story of five unlikely heroes to Nepali audiences nationwide.

Distribution has been confirmed with RR Films, led by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha. Kattel expressed clear confidence in the project: "We took on distribution after looking at both the content and the strong cast lineup. This film will deliver the complete entertainment that audiences look for during a major festival like Tihar. We believe it will succeed both commercially and artistically."

Presenter Navin Shrestha echoed the optimism, noting that the release date was chosen in consultation with the distribution team and that the timing gives the film the best possible platform for strong performance.

The film's five central cast members — representing the five Pandavas — are Haribhansa Acharya, Jitu Nepal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi, and Sushil Sitaula, with Deepashree Niraula, Sarita Giri, Binod Neupane, Rama Thapalia, Prashant Tamrakar, and Eva Giri in supporting roles. The film is directed by Basanta Niraula with story, screenplay, and dialogues by Sushil Poudel, and is produced by Kali Rani Shrestha under the banner of Kali Rani Films. Cinematography is by Shyam Tamang.

Shooting is currently ongoing across locations in Jhapa and Kathmandu, with interior scenes being filmed at a hotel in Jhapa before the team moves on to the remaining schedule.
