Kathmandu — Actress and director Neeta Dhungana has completed the shooting of Parbati in just 22 days — finishing a full eight days ahead of the one-month schedule she had originally set. The film began shooting on Chaitra 24 in Mirsa Village, Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality, Kaski.
Dhungana directed the film and played the lead role herself, alongside Deepashree Niraula, Ashok Darji, Siru Bisht, Radhika Kandel, Raj Pangeni Sharma, Rajendra Nepali, and Asha Poudel, among others. The story and screenplay are by Dhungana herself, with the script written by Shivam Adhikari. DOP is Sudeep Baral, creative director is Saroj Adhikari, executive producer and production manager is Shankar Pande, and producer is Harihar Adhikari. Editing will be by Sahil Khan with poster design by Royal Bhimsen.
Parbati is set to release on Bhadra 12.
