Kathmandu — Director Gyanendra Deuja's sequel Jhinge Dau 2 has set its release date as Ashoj 3, coinciding with Nepal's Constitution Day. The decision to move away from the Fulpati window was deliberate: with multiple filmmakers competing for that same date, the team chose a safer and less crowded slot.
The newly released character poster features Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, and Kushal Bisht in their distinctive looks, building early audience curiosity. The full cast includes Saroj Khanal, Aryan Sigdel, Vasundhara Bhusal, Chaityadevi Singh, Hiunbala Gautam, Vijay Deuja, Asha Bhusal, Abhay Raj Baral, and Ashish Purush, among others.
The story is by director Deuja, with screenplay by Parichheda Sen, Govind Phuyal, and Shishir Chalise. Technical team includes action direction by Roshan Shrestha, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, music by Arjun Pokhrel, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and cinematography by Bishnu Ghimire "Kalpit". The film was shot across Kavre, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Sankhu, Tanahun, Bandipur, Devghat, Dolakha, Chitlang, Palung, and Chitwan. Producers are Sulabh Pratik Deuja and Samiksha Deuja.
