Kathmandu — The action drama Kumbha has added a softer dimension to its promotional campaign with the release of its romantic song "Sparsha," unveiled Friday through RAA Digital Nepal. The new track arrives just ahead of the film's nationwide theatrical release on Jestha 15 (May 29).
"Sparsha" features vocals by singer Manish Shahi, with lyrics written by director and writer Randhir Shrestha himself, and music composed by DJ AN. The music video showcases the romantic chemistry between the film's lead pair, Ashok Aryan and Srishti Khadka, in a warm and visually appealing setting. The production team is confident the song's blend of love, emotion, and tenderness will connect strongly with audiences.
The release follows the film's earlier teaser, which had already generated good buzz. With a romantic song now adding another emotional layer to the marketing, Kumbha is building a multi-dimensional promotional identity ahead of its release.
Kumbha is an action and social drama featuring Ashok Aryan, Srishti Khadka, Sunil Thapa, Rohit Rumba, Sushil Pokhrel, Robert Singh, Surendra Thakur, Afsana Thapa, RJ Sapkota, and Munna Sarraf, among others.
In a notably comprehensive creative undertaking, director Randhir Shrestha has handled the film's writing, direction, cinematography, and editing himself. Action direction is by Samrat Basnet, Pradeep Khadka (India), Sanjay Thapa, and Kumar Maharjan, with choreography by Robert Singh.
The film is produced under the banner of RAS Production and releases nationwide on Jestha 15.
