Kathmandu — The upcoming film Lajjawati has unveiled five character posters simultaneously, giving audiences their first detailed look at the film's principal cast in their individual roles. The posters feature Januka Bishwokarma, Shrikrishna Niraula, and Menuka Majhi in a range of settings, with some images hinting at a love story, others reflecting family dynamics, rural life, and personal struggle.
The production team shared that the posters are designed to offer a glimpse into the film's core themes of love, family, relationships, and social context, building audience curiosity ahead of the release.
The film stars Mukun Bhusal, Januka Bishwokarma, Shrikrishna Niraula, Menuka Majhi, Dhiren Shakya, Hiunbala Gautam, Deepak Thapa, and Binod Shrestha, among others. It is written and directed by the filmmaker himself, presented under the banner of Aaha Films Pvt. Ltd., with producers Kamalprasad Sharma and Sandipkumar Rokaya, and executive producer Dinesh Budathoki. Technical credits include cinematography by Divyaraj Subedi, editing by Tara Thapa "Kimbye", and action direction by Dev Maharjan.
Lajjawati releases on Shrawan 29.
