Kathmandu — Debut director Jeevan Singh has announced the release date for his action film Hunter: Ashoj 9, with a striking official poster revealing the film's central conflict and its surprising romantic dimension.
The poster presents lead actors Arun Kshetri and Prakash Shah face-to-face in an intense standoff, with Prakash's sharp fury and Arun's quiet determination suggesting a collision between two powerful forces rather than a simple fight. The title itself reinforces the premise: this is a story of the hunt, of two men trying to bring the other down.

But the lower portion of the poster tells a different story, showing Arun Kshetri alongside Supraja Sharma in a calm and romantic setting, signaling that beneath the action and conflict lies a genuine love story woven through the narrative.
Director Jeevan Singh has shared that the film's story draws from real social characters and situations rather than purely fictional scenarios, giving it grounded authenticity.
The cast includes Arun Kshetri, Prakash Shah, Supraja Sharma, Garima Sharma, Saroj Khanal, Ramesh Budathoki, Ruja Raut, Roshani Dahal, Geeta Adhikari, Suraj Bhandari, Tekraj Sharmal, and Lalbahadur Thapa, among others. Produced by Mamata Singh, Gobinda Raj, and Raj A. Bhatt, with co-producers Manish Chand, Yuna Shahi, Santosh Asna Pal, and executive producer Royal Bhimsen (Bhimsen Shahi). Technical credits include DOP Krishna Thapa, action direction by Shukraraj Shah, choreography by Bikram Swan and Sanjay Khimjim, music by Babul Giri, Chakra Bam, and Mahesh Tamrakar, and editing by director Singh himself. Distribution is by RR Films.
