Kathmandu — The cast of the upcoming Nepali comedy Teen Tighre Kya Bigre has added a major crowd-pleasing name. Prabhat Lama, a comedian who has built a massive following through television, digital platforms, and live performances, has been officially signed to play the lead role in the film, marking his first-ever appearance as a film hero.
Prabhat expressed genuine excitement about stepping into this new creative territory. The production team is equally enthusiastic, confident that his natural comedic energy will translate powerfully to the big screen.
Principal photography is set to begin this week, with cinematography handled by Sankal Bhujel. The film will also feature songs by popular folk singer Pashupati Sharma.
The previously announced cast already includes Pashupati Sharma, Paritoshika Pant (daughter of singer Anju Pant), and Samiya Karki in central roles. Additional strong cast members from Nepal's entertainment world are also expected to be announced, according to producer Raghunath Sapkota.
The film is written and directed by Amardeep Sapkota, produced by Raghunath Sapkota under the banner of Raghuji Films, with nationwide distribution by RR Films and digital rights with OSR Digital.
