Aaslesha Thakuri, born on August 5, 1995, pursued her schooling and high school education at NASA College in Kathmandu before relocating with her family to Thailand. While in Thailand, she pursued her passion for filmmaking and earned a Bachelor's degree in the field.
Her entry into the Nepali film industry unfolded when she was approached by Sudarshan Thapa, the director of "Prem Geet." Initially considering the previous actor from "Prem Geet" for the sequel, circumstances led to a change, and the director sought a new lead actress.
Aaslesha embraced the opportunity and starred opposite Pradeep Khadka in "Prem Geet 2." The movie resonated well with audiences, turning her into an instant sensation. With just one film, she garnered immense acclaim and swiftly ascended to stardom in the industry.
