Arjun Pokharel is a celebrated Nepali music director, music producer, singer, lyricist, and arranger. Born on October 2nd in Chitwan, he has earned a reputation as a renowned Nepali music composer and songwriter, celebrated for his ability to create soulful, timeless melodies that resonate with a wide audience, composing hit songs across various genres including filmy and romantic songs.
Beyond his work as a music director and singer, Pokharel is also a lyricist and arranger, and serves as the Director of A Plus Recording Studio as well as the Founder, Director, and CEO of The Divine Music Pvt. Ltd. He has also been associated with Anurag Music School, reflecting his commitment to nurturing musical talent. Originally from Tandi, Nepal, he is currently based in Kathmandu.
In the film industry, Pokharel is known for his work on notable Nepali films such as Prem Geet (2016), Ma Yesto Geet Gaauchu (2017), and Ramkahani (2018). His discography as a composer includes beloved tracks such as Timi Royako Pal, Rahar Chha Sangai (featuring Anju Panta and Sugam Pokharel), Timro Aankhama, and Nathiya, among many others.
His talent has been recognized with multiple prestigious honors. He won the Best Film Music Composer award at the 4th Music Khabar Music Awards in 2015 for Timro Aankhama, and again at the 5th Music Khabar Music Awards in 2016 for Ma Yasto Geet Gauchhu. He also took home the Best Music Composer for a Modern Song at the 10th Music Khabar Music Awards for Nathiya, and was recognized as Popular Music Composer of the Year at the 8th National Capital Award in 2022.
Arjun Pokharel continues to be an active and influential force in the Nepali music and film industry, consistently delivering music that connects deeply with audiences across Nepal.
