JB DC (Juddha Bahadur D.C.) is a Nepali national born on 2038/11/07. He resides permanently in Ghorahi-12, Dang, with a temporary address in Nayabazar, Kathmandu.
His extensive training includes acting, dance, anchoring, and modeling, gained through institutions like M. Art Theatre, Sanskritik Sanasthan, Image Institute of Film & Television, and The Ramp. Over the years, he participated in national and international workshops focused on theatre and movies, honing his craft further.
JB DC's work experience is diverse, ranging from singing, dancing, and program presenting to acting in street, radio, and stage dramas. He has been a key presenter in events such as the Rastriya Baal Natak Mela (2079, 2080) and Bhim Magar Yakal Gayan Prastuti Tatha Srashtha Samman Karyakaram (2081). His acting portfolio encompasses numerous dramas like "Kankal," "Bodha," "Khil," and "Bahula Kaji Ko Sapana," across multiple prestigious festivals. He has also showcased his talent in regional, national, and international theatre, including the Bhumiz 4th International Theatre Festival in Bangladesh.
As a versatile artist, JB DC has also contributed as a singer, model, telefilm and short movie actor, and associate director, with credits in projects like "Rimjhime Panima" and "Kab Aihen Sajan Pardeshiya." He has directed dramas like "Creative Hands" and "Buddha," alongside appearing in advertisements such as E-Sewa TVC and health ministry campaigns.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, he has been associated with organizations like M. Art Theatre, Nilgiri Films, and the Federation of Theatre Persons, where he has held roles from acting instructor to central general secretary. JB DC has received several awards and honors, including recognition for his performances in "Kankal" and "Creative Hands," as well as many national competition accolades. His rich career reflects his dedication and significant contributions to Nepali theatre and culture.
