Manoj Panta is a dynamic figure in the Nepali film industry, recognized for his expertise in action direction and cinematic storytelling. With years of experience working behind the camera, he has established himself as a reliable creative force, blending technical precision with artistic vision. His role as Chief Assistant Action Director has allowed him to contribute to numerous films, ensuring that action sequences are executed with safety, realism, and dramatic impact.
Throughout his career, Manoj has worked extensively in the Nepali cinema landscape, collaborating with directors, stunt teams, and production units to design and coordinate action scenes. As Chief Assistant Action Director, he plays a pivotal role in translating the director’s vision into practical choreography, managing logistics, and guiding stunt performers. Beyond film sets, Manoj has been involved in workshops and training sessions, helping aspiring filmmakers and stunt professionals understand the craft of cinematic action. He has also contributed to film education, sharing his knowledge of direction and screenplay writing at institutions such as Oscar International College and Tribhuvan University, where he has taught filmmaking and mentored students.

His filmography includes Kaaran (2006), a short film exploring social themes; Where is the Story? (2007), screened at multiple festivals showcasing his narrative strength; The Remains (2008), a poignant short film with strong visual storytelling; and Footsteps in the Distance (2017), a 30-minute film reflecting his evolving cinematic style. He has also assisted in crafting stories that traveled internationally, representing Nepal on global platforms.
