Raunak Bikram Kandel is a well-known figure in the Nepali film scene, celebrated for his significant contributions to the industry. He has played a key role in producing a string of successful films, including Kabaddi, Kabaddi Kabaddi, Purano Dunga, Gham Pani, Mr. Jholay, and Dimag Kharab. His journey took off when he made his debut as an associate producer for Kabaddi under Nischal Basnet's Black Horse Pictures, a pivotal moment that led to the film winning two National Awards for "Best Film" and "Best Script."

Later on, Raunak founded his own production company, Cinema Art Pvt. Ltd., and kept the momentum going by producing more hit movies. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, as he has set records in the Nepali film industry, with Kabaddi Kabaddi becoming one of the highest-grossing films in Nepal. Additionally, he has been an active executive member of the Nepal Film Producer Association.
