Ryhaan Giri, born in Thimphu, Bhutan, in 2000, has always had a passion for music, which he pursued from an early age while attending the Early Learning Center in Thimphu. After continuing his education at Saint Augustine's School and St Joseph's School (North Point), he moved to Kolkata for high school at Calcutta International School. He later pursued his passion for music at the True School of Music in Mumbai. Ryhaan gained significant recognition after participating in the popular Nepalese singing competition, Voice of Nepal Season 4 in 2022, where he became the first Bhutanese contestant to perform barefoot on stage during the blind audition round. Although he reached the top 6 (semifinals), he was eliminated in the voting round. Ryhaan has since released several songs and is working on a seven-track Nepali album. Aside from music, Ryhaan is a keen sportsman who has played basketball, competed in table tennis, and swimming. He has also won an inter-school elocution contest at the district level. Ryhaan comes from a close-knit family, including his younger sister, parents, and his aunt, who is a big supporter of his musical journey. He shares a special bond with his mother’s elder brother and his wife. Ryhaan is active on various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, where he shares his music and connects with fans.
