Salon Basnet is a talented and engaging actor in the Nepali film industry, recognized for his ability to infuse both depth and humor into his performances. Born on March 23, 1991, in Thankot, Kathmandu, he was raised in a family with strong ties to the entertainment sector. His father, Shovit Basnet, is a well-known director, and Salon attributes his passion for acting to the influence of his family.

He started his acting career as a child artist in the film "Nepali Babu" (1999) and went on to appear in other films such as "Aafanta," "Dhukdhuki," and "Pinjada" during his formative years. However, it was his role as "Junge" in the movie "Hostel" (2013) that marked his breakthrough, bringing him widespread acclaim.
