Usha Khadgi

Usha Khadgi is a celebrated Nepali model, television presenter, entrepreneur, and the titleholder of Miss Nepal World 2000.

Born in Birgunj, Nepal, to parents Uttam Bahadur Khadgi and Urmila Khadgi, Usha Khadgi rose to national prominence after winning the Miss Nepal crown in 2000, becoming the seventh woman to hold the title and the second winner from Birgunj after Ruby Rana. Prior to her national win, she was the first runner-up in both Miss Pokhara 1999 and Miss Birgunj 2000, showcasing her early promise in the pageantry world. Beyond modeling, Usha has built a multifaceted career that includes hosting television programs and running her own fashion boutique, UR Stylish, where she designs many of the dresses herself—a passion she discovered during her school years and formalized through a fashion design course in 2004.

In recent years, she has continued to engage audiences as the host of Aama, a talk show on News 24 that features Nepali celebrities alongside their mothers, offering heartfelt glimpses into family dynamics and cultural values.
