Kathmandu — A new Nepali film is on the hunt for fresh and experienced talent, and the casting call has been opened to a wide range of performers. Production house Moonlight Motion Pictures has announced an open audition for an upcoming project scheduled to begin principal photography in the first week of Ashar.

New Nepali Film Calls for Auditions: Talent Sought Across Ages 18 to 50

The production team is seeking actors and actresses across three age groups: 18 to 25 years, 26 to 35 years, and 36 to 50 years, covering both lead and supporting character roles. The casting call is open to both newcomers and established artists looking for their next opportunity.

Auditions will be held from Chaitra 12 to 14 at Kathghara Studio, Bhatkeko Pul, Kathmandu. Interested candidates are required to pre-register by calling 9808384974 before arriving. Walk-ins without prior registration will not be accommodated, so the production team has urged all interested participants to secure their spot in advance.

One of the most intriguing aspects of this project is the deliberate air of mystery surrounding it. Neither the film's title nor the name of its director has been revealed. However, the production team has claimed that the project will be helmed by one of the Nepali film industry's most respected and established directors. Individual producer names and other team members have also been kept under wraps for now, with only the Moonlight Motion Pictures banner appearing on the announcement.

The combination of a broad casting net, a mystery director, and a Ashar shooting start suggests a production team that is serious about both its creative ambitions and the element of surprise.
