Kathmandu — Director Deepak Prasad Acharya — who delivered last year's record-breaking blockbuster Paran — has officially launched production on his next film, Chiranjeevi Bhava, with a formal script and camera puja ceremony held at Banglamukhi Temple, Lalitpur on Monday.
In a notable development, veteran comedian and cultural icon Haribhansa Acharya has joined the project in a lead role, giving the film's first shot at the muhurt ceremony. He joins previously announced cast members Ashirvad Kshetri and content creator-turned-actress Prasangsha Raymajhi, who makes her screen debut through this film.
The cast also includes Priyanka Karki, Suwarna Thapa, Kamalmani Nepal, Saroj Aryal, Harish Niraula, Suman Karki, and Susmita Kunwar, among others.
The film tells a story of the emotional bond between a grandfather and his grandchild. Story is by Kumar Kattel, with screenplay and dialogues by Sabin Adhikari and Basanta Neupane. The film is produced by Umesh Kumar Baral under the joint banners of Jigri Entertainment and Premier Production, with Gajit Bisht and Shailesh Khatri as executive producers. Principal photography begins Jestha 15, with a Maghe Sankranti release targeted.
