Pooja Sharma Signs for "Man Bina Ko Dhan 2," Says She Loved the Story

Kathmandu — The sequel to last year's commercially successful film Man Bina Ko Dhan is officially in development. Man Bina Ko Dhan 2 has been announced, with actress Pooja Sharma signing as the lead — the first cast member confirmed for the project.

The original film grossed approximately Rs. 4 crore at the box office, making the sequel a natural next step for director Tank Budathoki, who will return to helm this second installment under Tank Budathoki Production.

"We have signed Pooja ji first," the director said. "We will be signing other cast members one by one." Pooja expressed genuine enthusiasm: "The story is very family-oriented. I agreed to work because I liked my role and the team."

Screenplay and dialogues are being written by Shivam Adhikari, with the story and music remaining with director Tank. Principal photography is planned to begin in Bhadra. The film will be produced by Bishnu Maya Mainali.
