Kathmandu — The full trailer of I Am Jit Bahadur has been officially released at a special event in Kathmandu, with the film's production team unveiling the preview through OSR Digital's YouTube channel ahead of its nationwide release on Ashar 5.
The trailer tells the story of a young man who leaves his village carrying the dream of becoming an actor, and the struggles, rejections, and human complexities he navigates on that path. For Jitu Nepal, best known over three decades for his comedy and character roles, the film represents a striking departure: a performance-driven dramatic role that places the emotional weight of an entire story on his shoulders.
Actress Barsha Raut appears opposite Jitu in a key role, with the trailer also featuring Priyanka Karki, Sandeep Kshetri, Deshbhakta Khanal, Pawan Khatiwada "Baba", Niraj Nepal, and Anshu Maharjan, among others.
The film is directed by Indian Bengali filmmaker Suvendhu Ghosh, who wrote the story as well. All post-production work was completed in India, with cinematography by Indian DOP Arvind. The film is produced under the banner of Karmabhumi Creation, with executive producers Nishchal Kunwar and Niraj Nepal, and co-producers Rajan Sinkhada and Dipendra Adhikari. Distribution is handled by RR Films, with digital rights held by OSR Digital.
