Khem Sharma became a household name through the popular Nepali telefilm Chureko Daupech, in which his portrayal of the character Chature resonated so deeply with audiences that the name followed him for the rest of his life. His effortless comic timing, natural delivery, and the distinctly rural flavor of his dialogue style earned him a unique place in the hearts of Nepali viewers.
Beyond television, he appeared in numerous Nepali films and dozens of telefilms, carving out a distinct identity as a comic performer while also taking on production work. His contribution to Nepali comic acting will be long remembered.
