Kathmandu — The romantic thriller Behuli has changed its release date, moving from its originally announced Bhadra 12 to Bhadra 26, now timed to coincide with the Haritalika Teej festival. The announcement came alongside the release of the film's first-look poster at a special event held in Kathmandu on Monday.

The poster is immediately striking. Actress Divya Raymajhi appears in full bridal attire, held close by Paras Bam Thakuri (Coolboy), but Paras's wrists are visibly handcuffed. The image says something more complex than a simple love story: whatever awaits this couple threatens to tear them apart in the most serious of ways, and the juxtaposition of wedding dress and handcuffs is a visual hook that will linger in the mind.
Actor Sushant Karki makes a notable return through this film after a five-year absence from the screen. He is joined in the cast by Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya, Sarita Giri, Bishal Pahari, Karma Lama, Ghanshyam Joshi, Sabin Kattel, Deepak Gauli, Bimal Anubinay Yadav, and Aviral Shrestha, among others.
Directed by Sashan Kandel of Hostel 3 fame, the film is written by Madhav Sharma with music by Arjun Pokhrel, DOP Narendra Mainali, editing by Bikas Dahal, and action direction by Roshan Shrestha. Arjun Pokhrel also serves as presenter, with Pratap Shamsher Rana as producer, Shankar Koirala and Ramesh Silwal as executive producers, and co-producers Durga Kharel and Shishir Shrestha.
