Kathmandu — Excitement around Gauthali is translating directly into advance ticket sales. With the film set to release on Shrawan 1 (Friday), advance booking has opened across Nepal's major multiplexes as of Tuesday, with QFX, INI, and One Cinemas among the first to make tickets available.
Distributor Karan Shrestha "Crazy" projected strong show counts ahead of the opening: "The shows are still being added. I cannot give an exact number right now, but by tomorrow the country will have more than 200 shows."
The strong premiere response has created significant word-of-mouth momentum ahead of the release, with the production team confident of a healthy opening weekend. The film's trailer has also been trending at number 1 on YouTube Nepal, further amplifying anticipation.
Directed by Dr. Kapil Rijal, the film is produced by Suman Giri and Dr. Kapil Rijal under the banners of Bhola Rijal Production and Suman Giri Production, with executive producer Sarala Rijal and co-producers Indu Giri, Manish Rijal, Pralay Rijal, and Jeevan Oli. Distribution is handled by Rich Entertainment, Apple Entertainment, and FD Company, with digital partner OSR Digital.
