Kathmandu — Hot on the heels of Mitajyu's well-received theatrical run, producer Janak Gharti Magar has wasted no time announcing his next project. Aakash Barsha has been officially revealed with a title announcement poster, marking the producer's third film and his first foray into the love story genre.
"This film will be a pure love story," Janak said. The simple announcement poster shows gentle rain falling from clouds against a mountain backdrop, a visual that quietly suggests themes of life's joys, sorrows, and quiet beauties.
The film will be directed by Sudeep Bhaju, with the story conceived by Janak himself and written by Amir Magar. No cast or further technical details have yet been announced. Distribution is confirmed with RR Films led by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha.
Janak has built an impressive track record: Gharjwai was a blockbuster, and Mitajyu earned strong critical appreciation. His move into romantic storytelling has audiences curious about what he will bring to a genre he has not yet explored.
