Dhiren Shakya, born on February 25, 1971, is a renowned Nepalese actor who has made significant contributions to the Nepali entertainment industry. His career has encompassed appearances in Nepali feature films as well as music videos.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, Shakya starred in over a hundred Nepali films, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the industry. His remarkable talents have earned him several awards, including National Film Awards for Best Actor. Additionally, he has been featured in more than 70 music videos.
Some of his notable and successful films include "Krodh," "Jibandaan," "Chino," "Simana," "Desh Paradesh," "Ajambari Maya," "Arjun," "Insaaf," and "Janam Janam."
Dhiren Shakya's journey in the film industry began with his first feature film, "Pahilo Prem," and he later received offers for roles in films like "Karja." Over the years, he has showcased his acting prowess in numerous films, each contributing to his illustrious career. Some of these films include "Saubhagya," "Jun Tara," "Janma Janma Chahari Dushman," "Daag," "Bhisma-Pratigya," "Sahar," "Apsara," "Ansabanda," "Deurali," "Khelauna," "Bhagawan," "Desh Paradesh," "Bhagyale Jurayo," "Kaida," "Jiwandaan," "Dadagiri," "Maile Bhulnai Sakina," "Achanak," "Dui Mutu Ek Dhadkan," "Aadhi Baato," and "Laxmi Rani."
In addition to his film work, Dhiren Shakya made cameo appearances in the 2016 Newari film "Tuyumati" and participated in "Yatra: A Musical Vlog."
