Marichman Shrestha is a well-known figure in the Nepali entertainment industry, primarily recognized as a popular comedian and actor. He is widely known by his stage name, "Balchhi Dhurbe."

He gained significant fame through his role as the character "Balchhi Dhurbe" in the popular Nepali comedy tele-serial 'Meri Bassai,' which aired on NTV. He has also been involved in other successful comedy serials such as 'Halka Ramailo,' where he serves as a script writer and director, and 'Juthe.'

Beyond television serials, Marichman Shrestha has also appeared as an actor in Nepali films, with credits including 'Nai Nabhannu La 4' (released in 2016) and 'Baramase' (released in 2018).
