Born on October 10, 1967, Ali is an accomplished Indian actor, comedian, and TV presenter, primarily active in Telugu films and television. His extensive career includes appearances in over 1000 Telugu films, earning him recognition with two Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South.

Ali entered the film industry through Jit Mohan Mitra, Rajahmundry's musical company, making his debut in the 1970 movie "Olavum Theeravum" under P. N. Menon's direction. Initially noticed as a child actor, he ventured to Chennai for Bharathi Raja's "Seethakoka Chiluka," solidifying his presence in various languages. Transitioning to adult roles, Ali faced challenges, eventually establishing himself as a renowned comedian in Telugu cinema.

Director S. V. Krishna Reddy played a pivotal role in Ali's career, crafting unique comic roles for him. Ali's distinctive style, featuring the iconic Katravalli and "Endha Chaata" dialogues in "Rajendrudu Gajendrudu" (1993), earned him acclaim. His versatility was showcased in the highly praised 2010 Kannada film, "Super."

Beyond acting, Ali serves as a brand ambassador for the anti-itching medicine Manmohan Jaadoo Malaam. He has ventured into hosting, presenting the talk shows "Ali Talkies" on MAA TV and "Alitho Saradaga" on ETV. Additionally, Ali joined the popular show "Jabardasth" as an ad hoc judge, further expanding his multifaceted career.
