It was during this time that he gained significant recognition through his involvement in one of the era's most prominent shows, Nepali Tara Season Three, where he secured the position of Third Runner Up. This marked a pivotal moment, establishing his presence in the Nepali Music Industry.
However, Pratap Das rose to even greater prominence with his participation in Nepal Idol 2017, the country's esteemed musical reality show. His journey in this competition captivated audiences, earning him widespread acclaim, and culminated in him securing the position of Second Runner-Up. This pivotal experience catapulted the name Pratap Das to the forefront, solidifying his place as a highly regarded and beloved figure in the Nepali music scene.
