Sarita Giri is a talented Nepali actress and theater artist who has made a significant impact in the Nepalese film and theater industry. She began her journey in acting shortly after completing her SLC (School Leaving Certificate) and initially pursued theater, which was not her original dream. However, the overwhelming appreciation she received for her first performance inspired her to continue in this field2.
Sarita has been involved in numerous national and international workshops, including Alternative Theatre in India, Physical Theatre in New York, and Puppet Theatre in the Philippines. She also holds a diploma in theater from Gurukul, showcasing her dedication to honing her craft.
Her filmography includes notable works such as Machha Machha (2019), Aama (2020), Kopila (2020), and Lappan Chhappan 2 (2020). She has also been part of other projects like Acharya, Gurudakshina, and Padmani Kagaj Patra. Sarita's performance in Gurudakshina earned her the Best Actor (Female) award at the Dcine Awards.
