Kathmandu — The Nepali feature film Ek Bhagwat Ek Geeta, directed by Jharna Thapa, is now available for audiences worldwide through the official YouTube channel of OSR Movies.
The film tells a story centered on the third gender community, weaving themes of identity, love, and social acceptance into an inter-caste love narrative. It stars Bipin Karki, Suhana Thapa, Dhiraj Magar, and Kabir Khadka in the lead roles, supported by Jebis and Jevin Shrestha, Sanjog Rasaili, Mukesh Jha, Anurag Kunwar, Ram Kailash Thakur, and Dhiraj Thakur, among others.
The film is produced by Sunilkumar Thapa under the banners of Suhana Entertainment and Sunilkumar Thapa Production. The original concept was developed by actress Suhana Thapa, while the story and direction come from Jharna Thapa. The screenplay was co-written by Jharna Thapa, Sarin Pokhrel, Parikshед Sen, Purushottam Dhungel, and Krishna, with dialogues crafted by Parikshед and Purushottam.
On the technical side, the film features music by Hercules Basnet, Ashish Aviral, Pravesh Mallik, and Babul Giri; lyrics by Shankar Adhikari "Ghayal"; choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj; action direction by Himal KC; background score by Sailesh Shrestha; cinematography by Rajesh Shrestha; and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
