The nominations, certified on 27 Ashadh, 2083 (July 11, 2026) at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu, are as follows:
Narendra Mainali has received a nomination in the category of Best Cinematographer, acknowledging the visual craftsmanship and distinct aesthetic quality he brought to the film's frames.

Mohak Shrestha has been nominated in the category of Best Background Score, recognizing the film's atmospheric and emotionally resonant musical compositions that played a significant role in shaping the film's tone and impact.
The 3rd INFA International Nepali Film Award 2026 is jointly presented by INFA Events UK and INFA Events Nepal, with the award ceremony scheduled for August 15, 2026 in Kathmandu. The jury panel includes Harihar Sharma, Ramesh Budathoki, Gauri Malla, and Karun Thapa, with the event overseen by Umesh Raj Moktan (CEO, INFA Events UK) and Sunil Shrestha (CEO, INFA Events Nepal).
The Blue Light received strong critical reviews upon its theatrical release, though its cinema run was cut short by the electoral environment at the time. Its recognition at the INFA awards signals that the film's creative merit has not gone unnoticed by the broader Nepali film community.
