Kathmandu — The official poster of Maya Bhanekei Yasto Hola, directed by actress Rekha Thapa in her directorial comeback after eight years, has been released, with the film set to reach cinemas on Bhadra 26, timed for the Teej festival.
The poster places Dil Shrestha at its center, shown in a haldi ceremony ahead of a wedding, with Laxmi Giri and Sangam Bhandari applying turmeric while a cheerful Madan Krishna Shrestha looks on from a wheelchair. Srishti Shrestha and Niti Shah appear with sindoor in their parting, and Namrata Shrestha stands holding a bouquet. The poster's warm, celebratory atmosphere clearly signals a family-centered story at the heart of the film.
For Dil Shrestha, this marks a comeback after six years away from the screen, having previously appeared in films like Parkhi Raha Hai and Hero Returns.
The film is produced under the banner of Diya and Amu Films by Harinarayan Shrestha, Mayadevi Shrestha, Nawraj Shrestha, Jasmin Shrestha, and Prakash Shrestha, with screenplay by Dhruv Lamsal, cinematography by Sudeep Baral, music by Prashant Shiwakoti, and film coordination by Rajan Ghimire.
