Hari Bansha Acharya is a highly accomplished Nepalese actor, comedian, director, singer, and writer known for his exceptional talents and contributions to the entertainment industry. He is renowned for his method acting and is famous as one half of the beloved comedy duo MaHa Jodi, alongside fellow comedian Madan Krishna Shrestha.

Acharya's career in the entertainment industry began when he performed with Hari Prasad Rimal and Jitendra Mahat Avilashi on Radio Nepal in 2031 BS (1974 AD). He later joined Rastriya Naach Ghar in 2032 BS (1975 AD) and participated in the Gaijatra Mahotsav in 2034 BS (1977 AD). Before teaming up with Madan Krishna Shrestha to form the MAHA Jodi, he worked as a solo artist in the entertainment field for six years.

Hari Bansha Acharya has also made significant contributions to Nepali cinema, appearing in popular films such as Lovipapi, Filim, Rajamati, Silu, Balidaan, Je Bho Ramrai Bho, and Tah Ta Sarhai Bigris Ni Badri. His performance in Balidaan is considered one of the finest in Nepali film history.

Additionally, Acharya has created and starred in several remarkable comedy series, including Lal Purja, Pandra Gatay, Bhakunde Bhoot, Series of Hari Bahadur and Madan Bahadur, 50/50, and Dashain ko Chyangra, all of which have left a lasting impact on Nepalese audiences.

Hari Bansha Acharya and his comedy duo, MaHa Jodi, are actively involved in social causes and played a significant role in the April Uprising in Nepal, which led to the dethroning of the monarchy. Their efforts in the uprising were widely recognized, and they even received support for the presidency from certain segments of the Nepalese population.
